Title of the Artwork: Guardians of the Dawn This artwork is a visual metaphor for our role as builders. The theme ‘Tomorrow in Your Hands’ is interpreted here as a duty of protection toward everything that is nascent and promising. I chose to represent a family gathered around a young plant. This seedling embodies ‘Tomorrow’: it represents the projects, the ideas, or the children we must nurture. The characters’ hands, arranged in a protective crown, do not yet touch the plant; they offer it the space and security needed to flourish. This illustrates the power of creativity and kindness in shaping the future. The contrast between the parched earth in the foreground and the dove of peace at the top symbolizes the transition from a difficult situation toward an era of serenity. By utilizing the precision of the BIC ballpoint pen, I wanted to demonstrate that, just as a work of art is built stroke by stroke, the future of Africa is built through patience, solidarity, and the transmission of knowledge. Tomorrow is not a matter of fate; it is a seed that we have the power to make sprout today.
